Dan Antkowiak has worked with Mark Simon for over 25 years to complete the many projects that come through our doors. On some projects Dan finishes the storyboards and others he takes on completely, working in the same efficient way Mark has pioneered to capture the director’s vision.
Dan outdid himself on this commercial for the Hummer EV, providing both storyboards and animatic. Director Jackson Tisi exclaimed, “Looks so good! That balcony perspective shift shot! Wow. Amazing work. Thank you. Looks great. Excited to share.”

These storyboards by Dan Antkowiak showcase the favorite snackfoods for Charles Barkley and Lebron James. The animatic he created at the same time helped the agency and director land client approval for the shoot.
Dan captured the director’s vision in this exciting car chase for the FBI: Most Wanted series. We created both storyboards and animatics for FBI Most Wanted within the tight timelines of production. Nothing helps a production and a director to get a real feel for upcoming shots than seeing storyboards in motion.

Production gets storyboards and these cool animatics. Directors get to see if their shots work in motion and editorial uses these animatics in their rough cuts.
Dan was one of our artists on The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Like we do on every project, Dan created animatics as he storyboarded. Directors LOVE seeing their vision come to life. Our process saves time and enhances the director’s vision and planning, making the storyboards more useful.
Dan has been storyboarding with Mark Simon on Fear The Walking Dead for two seasons. Each episode Dan works with a different director to save us all from the Zombie Apocalypse. He also creates animatics of the sequences for the directors, all within the tight timelines of TV production.
Dexter: New Blood is the new season of the massive Showtime hit series. All episodes of the show were shot at the same time, making the best use of the available locations. Two directors worked with us concurrently to create storyboards and animatics of the entire series. We created over an hour of animatics for the show. It was also a great homecoming, as Mark also storyboarded the original pilot for Dexter more than 16 years ago.
Mark Simon provided storyboards and animatics for the entire first season of the award-winning HBO series, The Flight Attendant starring Kaley Cuoco. Part of the process was multiple storyboard passes as the producers tried to find the unique visual multi-frame style of the show.
