This is a cool piece for the Kidspirational line of products, but it’s also very special to art director Mark Simon. While searching for the perfect background, Mark found this family picture of Banff, Canada where he learned to ski. But, he had to digitally remove himself and his family from the photo. Character art by Enoc Castaneda, design and Photoshop by Mark Simon.
We’ve done a number of gigs for the military. No reason to say this, just wanted you to know… Ok, it really was for the military, we just don’t remember why. This is the concept art for a project called No Problem Too Big and producer AniMill, for which we also produced the animatic.
One of the products we illustrated for the Kidspirational line was a calendar. The photo backgrounds were a mix of new photos and antique (I hate that word) photos from Mark Simon’s family photo album. Art by Enoc Castaneda. Art direction and photos by Mark Simon.
We just love cartoons over live action. This squirrel is from the award winning animation Bicycle Man. Art by Enoc Castaneda and Mark Simon.
Comic book artist extraordinaire Alex Saviuk illustrated the Marvel comic book X-Files, based on the hit Fox series. Fun tidbit: Alex always had to draw the lead characters with their mouths closed, even when they were speaking.
Sometimes museums can have a sense of humor. We provided this poster for the Brevard Museum of Art and Science. All the caricatures are of the board members. Illustration by Alex Saviuk.
This is one of our favorite projects. The Roadkill Bunch is a Warner Bros-esque animated series starring living roadkill. You gotta love this. We designed the characters and helped the creators develop their show.
Do you like Americanized Mexican food? I like this version. I especially like their Kiss My Sweet Ass and Call me Sally hot sauce. A few years ago we illustrated their new website, which then went on to win an international web design award. PUSH in Orlando, FL concepted and designed the idea. Illustrations by Alex Saviuk.
The Phantom has been popular since the 1940’s. Our very own Alex Saviuk started on the Phantom a few years ago and it’s been an amazing success. You gotta check this out. Art by Alex Saviuk.
