Character Design – Gordon Ramsay
Everyone knows Hell’s Kitchen’s Gordon Ramsay. It was too fun to turn him into the chef from hell. (as opposed to what?)

We do a lot of storyboarding for the Golf Channel. They asked us to design a new animated character, Wolf, for their hit morning show, Wolf in the Morning. This character appears on the show in the studio monitors and walks into their lower thirds as well.
The Florida school system and Omni Productions came to us to design characters and produce the animation for their Protect: Don’t Infect campaign. This campaign taught kids how to properly wash their hands and keep from spreading germs. It won all sorts of awards. It was also very cool when our kids, who saw this art hanging all over their schools, found out that we designed it.
On the first season of number 1 hit series on PBS Dragon Tales, all 84 episodes, Mark Simon acted as the Visual Consultant, kind of a glorified storyboard supervisor. Mark also helped finalize the design of Emmy and Max.
If you bought a new car in the early 2000’s, you may have seen this character. The National Car Safety Assoc (or something like that) asked us to design and produce a video showing how the airbags in your car work. We designed Delta V out of various car parts (along with a turbine engine) and wanted him to look a bit whacky. You’d be whacky too if you always had to run into things during testing.
When Mark Simon first saw the comic book Dream Factory, he fell in love with it. He bought the rights and developed it into a TV series and feature film. We redesigned the characters to work in animation.
We produced a series of commercials for Cold Eaze Cold Medicine. In the spots, real people turn into animated caricatures when they sneeze. We designed the characters and Mark Simon directed the animation.
When Creepers creator David Lyons approached us, he had photos of rain forest characters that he wanted to animate. We designed the characaters, Mark Simon and Jeanne Simon wrote the pilot script and Mark directed the pilot.
Designed as an animated way for Realtors to show their clients how to prep their home to sell it, we created an animated family of Cinderella, Prince Charming and their medieval family trying to sell their castle. That’s Fairy Godmother flying around, their daughter Fannie Mae (get it? Fannie Mae home financing?) and Fizbo (aka: FSBO, For Sale By Owner), their fire breathing dragon. Of course we love our work.
Choose Your Own Adventure is a fun animated series about a family and their pet monkey and Bigfoot. ‘Nuf said…except we designed the characters. That needs to be said.
